Biography

 

I live in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales Australia. As an artist I have been inspired by the natural beauty of my surroundings and many other subjects which have entered my life over the years.

Last year we were  impacted greatly by the Green Wattle Creek Fire when it reached Balmoral Village New South Wales, Australia. We were safe although the fire surrounded our home.  The artist within stirred.  I tried to  imagine how the animals and birds might have been able to escape and find shelter some how.

​

As a result I have written a book, giving my first hand account and the animals telling their story illustrated with my art.  The hero is a horse named Ari and his constant companion a sweet little wagtail named Cherrie.
